Public Relations vs Advertising

Do you know the difference between PR and Advertising?

PR is free. Advertising is not.

You get free recognition if someone writes an article about your product. That is PR. But you cannot control the contents published or the duration of publication.

Advertising, on the other hand, makes you the boss as long as you have the cash to pay for it. You also have the option of running the ad campaign over and over again if you’re getting good results.

An article or blurb in a printed media source tends to have more credibility. People are usually more inclined to believe the product when it is written by someone familiar with the subject.

My Website is about Facilities, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering. You have seen my content and my style. You can see that I have a strong background in practical Mechanical and Electrical subjects. You know that I speak from experience.

If you are selling some products related or useful to engineering, and they can fit the theme of my website, I can weave the information in as a topic. I am sure you can see the benefit of advertising in this way. What I need is a small sponsorship from you.

Contact me at Your Friendly Host if you would like to explore how to weave your information link into my website subjects.

If you think you can write your own ad copy, then go to my advertisement page.
