For all world travelers, the passport is probably the most valuable travel document you can have. I know for seafarers, there is the shore pass, and for some countries you can still get a temporary visit pass. Anyway, knowing all of you, I think the chances are great that you could be traveling to other countries in the near future. Perhaps it is part of your job, or it could be for vacation leisure holidays. Nice thought isn’t it?

Losing a passport in a foreign country could turn up to be a nightmare! So in this issue of Marine Treasure Chest, I have a few tips on preventing passport problems …

I am not forgeting all of you who are about to enter college. I know how blurred people can be in the beginning of a new term. I am sure some lecturers or other people who deal with students (landlord with house-for-rent, food caterers, canteen operators, department stores, student councillors etc) may like some refreshing information on college days …
