Step 2: Instructions for Downloading Graphics from Safety E-books

You have already downloaded the e-book from us and I suppose you will have taken note of where the file is located. If you have not noted it down, you might find it hard to locate it again. In this case, I suggest you go back to the website at www.free-marine.com/cartoon and go through the motions to download again, but this time note carefully where the file is located at your computer hard disk.

All the instructions are written at the “guide” page of the e-book. However, if you find them difficult to understand, please follow the illustrated example below:

At your desktop, locate the icon for “Forklift Safety” or whatever safety e-book you have downloaded. Below is a typical computer screen with the various icons …

Double click on the icon to open it …

You will find the first page of the e-book …

If you click on the “Next” symbol at the top of the e-book, you will go to the next pages of the e-book, in this case, it is the guide page …

By further clicking on the “Next” symbol, you will come the the “Download page” …

To try out the download, click on the top graphic. A message box will be displayed with a save button near to the bottom right of the box. You will also notice that a file name will be displayed. Looking at the top of the box, you will find the directory where the file will be saved to. You want to save the file to a directory where you can find later on …

Click on the “Up One Level” button until the top bar shows the directory that you want to save the file to …

Keep repeating until you arrive at the directory that you want to save the file to …

After you have arrived at the directory that you want to save the file, click on the “Save” button at the bottom right of the box. Once you do that, the file will be saved into your computer. REMEMBER THIS LOCATION SO THAT YOU CAN RETRIEVE THE FILE LATER.

If you want to create another directory so that you can find the file more easily later on, click on the “Create New Folder” button at the top right of the box …

You will notice that a highlighted new folder will be shown. Use your keyboard to type in the name of the folder you want to create …

After you have typed the name of the directory, press “Enter” at your keyboard. The new name of the directory will be shown.

Use your mouse to double click on the new folder …

The new folder will be shown at the top of the box. This will be the folder that the graphic file will be saved to. Just press the “Save” button and the file will be saved there. Once again, REMEMBER THIS LOCATION SO THAT YOU CAN RETRIEVE THE FILE LATER.

If you try this same routine with the other graphic files, the ones with the padlock0 padlock symbol, you will find that a message box will display …

The message box request that you go to the bottom of the page to click on the guide page. Scroll down to the bottom and click on the guide page …

You will once again be shown the guide page. Read this page in order to understand how to unlock all the graphic images. You need to pay by credit card or by other means. Contact me if you want to pay by other means …

When you click on the link to buy the password, you will be shown the page below. Just click on the “Click here to get the password” link and you can proceed with the payment to unlock all the graphic images.
